Amory Memorial Chapel Rental Letter

Thank you for your inquiry regarding rental of Amory Memorial Chapel at Gasparilla Island State Park. Enclosed you will find a Rental Contract, a rental rate sheet, information about the Chapel, the Barrier Island Parks Society (BIPS), the Park, and Boca Grande Lighthouse Museum.

Please return one signed copy of the Rental Contract accompanied by your check for the full rental fee. Your requested date is being held tentatively pending receipt of payment. Cancellations 48 hours prior to the scheduled event are fully refunded.

A source sheet for vendors that you may find useful as you plan your event is also enclosed. It includes telephone numbers for churches (for ministerial services), Notaries Public, musicians, florists, restaurants and caterers, lodging and event planners.

Please note the following:

• Available for your use in the Chapel are 50 folding chairs, 10 six-foot tables, 2 30”x30” tables, a lectern and candelabra.

• Park Rangers are on duty until sundown, the official closing time for the park. Park rangers are available for hire after sunset.

• There is a parking fee charged by Florida Park Service. If you wish to make special arrangements for your event, please call 941-964-0375.

• A key for the Chapel and its restrooms will be provided to you. A $250.00 cash or check deposit, along with a credit card number to be put on file, will be required, refundable by mail upon return of the key and chapel inspection.

• Chapel capacity is 75 persons
