Your gifts make a difference! They have a lasting impact on our mission and the lives of others around you. There are many ways to give to Barrier Island Parks Society, and we deeply appreciate your philanthropic gifts.
Your fully tax-deductible gift supports BIPS’ mission and its most crucial needs, including tools and equipment for our parks, educational programs and the museum, its exhibits and care of its collections.
Please note: These funds cannot be used for our Gasparilla Island Light (GIL) project. The GIL project is not a partnership project with the State Park Service so the funds are maintained separately. The parks however, and the museum rely heavily on the Annual Fund, so please continue your support in this area to help us meet our mission.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts
A gift in memory or honor of someone can be made in any amount. We send a special letter to notify the family or individual of your thoughtful gift.
Imagine if you could make 25 children and adults smile when seeing for the first time a live sea hare pop up its head and little ears. A program gift is used in our education area to support and promote the conservation of threatened or endangered species and the preservation of history. It does not take a large gift to make a lasting impact.
Special Project Gift
Making a major contribution is giving a gift that keeps giving. Whether your generosity provides resources to restore a lighthouse or maintain one, add permanent exhibits or permanent structures to our parks, it is a gift that future generations will enjoy. Please contact us to discuss these gifts. Many are naming opportunities.
